Kamehameha contest winner

That guy kinda creepy but he is the winner of multiple anime/videogame contests festivals. He is performing the original kamehameha instance from dragonball, the way master Roshi(Tortue Geniale for the french version of DragonBall) did it.

Q: Why is there so much references in your posts videomachina?

A: 1) the post is like this because some people do not know how to use web 2.0 too well and cannot get their references they are wishing for. 2) A self-centred guy(who does not understand web2.0 sharing philosophy) posted against this blog claiming that i am not aknowledging enough the original video uploader.

A: I don’t know but…maybe because he have not removed my name completely on his blog as he has agreed to do. I have edited my post in order not to debunked completely his post(against me) and remove his nasty comments on website in order to prevent people seeing his ‘ugly’ undiplomatic way to handle a situation he is not in controlled. I also have to remove the cracks presents on his blog and all of this came during my revision time between exams. It took time to edit this blog. I was angry when i sat for the exam(the next day) and could not concentrate well. Hopefully i got a Distinction but i know i could scored have higher than that.

Saint Seiya la nouvelle star – Jerome

A guy named Jerome has the gut to go on a french television program and sang the opening Saint Seiya anime originally created by Masami Kurumada(known as les chevaliers du zodiaque for the French version) song in japanese. I say bravo to him, but he should practice a little bit more.  i would like to add that the “judges” should be a little bit more open minded as they seemed to laugh at him(from their comments)only because because song was japanese.I am not sure whether they recognized that the song came from Les Chevaliers du Zodiaque.  But i should say, it was bit unexpected. lol

So, it is alright to believe that we can link any videos to any blog.

it is interesting to point out from this reply of wordpress is that the laws does not seem to protect much the original uploaders or makers of the video.it is better to put a link outside the youtube video to point back to its original source(alhough in youtube you can get the link by clicking on the small up arrow at the bottom right of the player). The original author or director of a video must also make some effort by inserting watermark, logo or links inside their video. With web 2.0 sharing can be done very easily but certainly it has flaws also.

Yashwin Awootar Debunked No illegal copying of mauritian bloggers content!

This is a response to the blogger Yashwin Awootar who claimed that i have copied a video from his blog and that he holds the legal copyright of the video.The video in question is Navin Ramgoolam dancing with Lindzy backbotte aired on the National Television, Mauritius Broadcasting Coorporation. Yashwin got the video by filming a television which was airing the Ramgoolam dance.

I have blogged against him because simply he did not give me any other choice to contact him directly!

I forgive him as we should NOT judged a person when he is angry.  He claimed that he could not contact me directly but he could have left a comment on my blog. He did left a comment on my blog later(can be considered as contacting me directly since i am receiving the comment by email). I think that by  contacting me directly, he surely means that contacting me in private.

he did revealed my name almost entirely(82%) but now will conceal it entirely after we have settled things down.(i’m still waiting by the way).

My arguments are:

A person that enters a cinema and starts to film the movie(which is screening) DOES NOT make that person the LEGAL owner of the movie where he is free to distribute it to the public.
Furthermore, nearly all the CAMS version of the movies available on the internet have voices from audience and the camera man. Does that make the person the legal owner of the video? Why are we not hosting and or even selling those movies? it is ILLEGAL.

Crediting the video is just a matter of courtesy(as one blogger points out). i have credited the video now.

I do not copy videos. I only share links from youtube videos which is the primary purpose of youtube. My way of sharing links may be different from some bloggers. I expected that you to use the right small arrows in the youtube player to get the link. But from now as Yash argued,  i will put it outside the video for people to reach the source easily.

The way i have learned referencing at university is that you only have to credit the source where you have obtained the information(my source was youtube and not his blog post). For example if i took some information Book A has xyz info which itself has its source from Book B, you only have to make your reference to Book A and Not Book B. So my references was from youtube only. Plain and simple. The referencing i have learned were Harvard Referencing and Chicago Referencing.

Emtel 18 oct 2008 23:00 no network connection

WOW. I guess that type of thing(as the title suggests) happens only in Mauritius. No cellular phone network as it is down.(Do not know about Cellplus, i have not checked it out). Only on this island, a guy can disconnect some cables and the internet access was down in the entire island. Not so long ago, the internet was down in Quatre Bornes. I did not follow what was the cause for this problem because i am so busy doing assignments and other stuff at the moment. Well, all the internet connection problem stuff is RELATED to MAURITIUS TELECOM AND ORANGE.

Now a new saga, EMTEL announced facebook on his mobile homepage and there will be FREE browsing 17th-19th October. Guess what, when i tried to connect yesterday, no page could be loaded. Today even better the telephony services(a service that a telephone company that should never fail as it is its primary role) is DOWN. So no phone call, sms and the free facebook stuff that the company promissed. No one knows what could have cause network to go down this time.

Parasite Eve 3 trailer TGS 2008

This is the trailer for Parasite Eve 3 shown at Tokyo Game Show 2008. Hopefully, Square Enix decided not to make the game for mobile phone and will instead be released on PSP. It was eight years ago, back in year 2000, that I played the second game. it was a mixture of RPG and classic Resident Evil style gameplay. At that time, the PS2 was already out and it was one of the AA games that was released on the PS1. I have waited for this game on a playstation console for so long.
